When you use Plan You Event, we may collect: your name, phone number and email (when you submit an enquiry, booking or Plan My Event request); event details you share (event type, city, date, budget, guest count); account details if you sign up; and basic usage information such as pages visited.

Parts of the site (Event Manager checklist, budget, guest list, draft enquiries) are saved in your own browser's local storage so they work without login. Clearing your browser data removes them from that device. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand anonymous usage (pages visited, device type) — it may set cookies. Login sessions may also use cookies. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; the site still works if you do.

We share your contact and event details only with the vendors you enquire with or book, and with service providers that run the website (such as hosting and database services). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

Enquiries and bookings are kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see contact below).

6. Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data, and you can opt out of callbacks by telling us when we call or via the contact method below.

Plan You Event is intended for adults planning events. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian.
